Membership & Support
We need your support.
Did you know, the Museum was founded in 1987 by community members, both Quandamooka and non Quandamooka, who had rallied together to protect the Island from a bridge and over development? This protest action led to a desire to articulate and preserve what is unique and special about Minjerribah/Tjerrangerri/North Stradbroke Island.

Thanks to the support of our community, members and volunteers, the Museum has grown into the award-winning social history museum it is today.

Your donations help us to continue our museum work and our program of contemporary collecting about the Island. Donations support our team of staff, community members and volunteers to research, develop and present new exhibitions.

Our current goal is to mentor and employ local young people to assist us with exhibition delivery, to foster their skills, and to experience and appreciate the vital role museums play in creating fair, informed societies.

Your tax-deductible donation will help us achieve this. DONATE TODAY!
